A coastal fishing village of Messinian Mani, representing summer in Greece in the best possible way. Nearby, you’ll find beautiful beaches, such as Stoupa and Kalogria.
Even though it is slowly developing, the small resort of Messinian Mani remains a destination for few; in contrast with neighbouring Kardamyli, Stoupa and Kalogria which are the leading tourist attractions in the region.
Built by the sea, this small village was first inhabited in the early 19th century, and its inhabitants were fishermen or traders. It was formerly called Selinitsa.
Among its attractions are the churches of Saint Myron and Saint-Nikolaos-Ascension of Jesus.
In the tavernas you will enjoy really fresh fish and seafood, along with traditional dishes, including the famous lalangia. There are small hotels, pensions and rooms to let.
Between Agios Nikolaos and Agios Dimitrios is the sandy beach Pantazi. It is surrounded by trees, and it is organised.
