Kyparissi is a coastal town that is lucky enough to be situated just where the Chionovuni Mountain (snowy mountain) meets the Myrtoan Sea. It’s a popular destination thanks to easy access to sea views, gorges, rivers and beaches with crystal clear waters and it’s got an “island feel” to it as well.
The village is made up of three different areas: Paralia, Vrysi and Mitropoli. Vrysi is an old area with houses surrounded by orchards. Paralia was only accessible by sea until the 1970s when a road was built. This is probably why the architecture is so reminiscent of island Greece.
You are spoilt for choice if you want to go swimming – there are three beaches in the village so you can choose between Mikri Ammos, Megali Ammos and Agia Kyriaki.
