It is made from Greek pasteurised milk of goats and sheep grazing in these areas, and it needs at least three months to mature before you can enjoy it. It was named after the way the cheese mass was cut, since the word “sfela” means strip.
Sfela is available at shops with traditions products. and it is also served at restaurants, in salads, pies, etc.
