The Ostria Fest return in the summer of 2024 for the fifth year -with free admission-, with four musical evenings in new, selected locations and villages of the Municipality of Monemvasia. For the first time, Kythera will be a stop on the musical journey.
Traditional villages, Byzantine churches, medieval monuments, archaeological sites, idyllic beaches, hiking trails, climbing routes, diving in the sea and much more that a visitor can combine with the music nights of the festival "OSTRIA - Festivals of the South".
On June 28, Danae Moraiti and Christina Psycha, with Greek contemporary and traditional songs, will give life to a long abandoned and hidden garden, in Neapolis, Laconia.
On 27 July, Electric Litany will create a dreamy soundscape, combining post-rock, synthpop, neoclassical and electronic music and experimental sounds with the wild setting of Cape Malea, under the rocks of the 'Zombolo' climbing field, in Agios Nikolaos, Laconia.
On 18 August, the Kinteria will accompany the summer feast with traditional music, under the illuminated castle of Agia Paraskevi, in Messochori.
On September 14, George Xylouris (Psarogiorgis) will masterfully perform traditional Cretan tunes, turning the Cretan lute into a central melodic instrument, in OSTRIA's first collaboration with the 'Portokalia' Association of Karavas, in Kythera.
