On Saturday (October 19, 2024) at 19:00 the exhibition "Works from the valuable collection of the Gallery of Evangelos Averoff of Metsovo" will be inaugurated at the Kalamata Dance Hall. A concise panorama of modern Greek art", at the instigation of the Mayor of Kalamata, Athanasios Vassilopoulos, where the collection of Evangelos Averoff is presented for the first time in the city. This multi-faceted exhibition will be inaugurated by the former Prime Minister, Antonis Samaras.
The Kalamata Dance Hall will present 45 representative works which will reveal the wealth of conquests of important and renowned artists from around the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century.
