The Association "Marathon Runners Runners of Argolida", in cooperation with the Association of Health Runners of Argolida, announced the organization of the athletic event of recreation, running and dynamic walking, 23rd Argolic Gulf Road "Panagiotis Papavasiliou", on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

This event is more than just a sporting event. It is a tribute to the initiator and pioneer, veteran athlete Panagiotis Papavasiliou, but also an opportunity to showcase the natural beauty of Argolida, its hospitality, its local products and its rich history.
This year, the organizing committee aspires to pass a strong social message. In cooperation with the Association of Volunteer Blood Donors of Argolida "Blood Bonds", the race is dedicated to voluntary blood donation, honoring the anonymous heroes who save lives with their contribution...

The Route - a Road of Myths and Beauty
The 15,300-metre route starts from the enchanting landscape of Lerna, where in the depths of the centuries, Danaus landed with his daughters to begin his reign in Argos and passes through places full of history and myth. From the steps of Hercules just before his confrontation with Lernaia Hydra, to Nea Keos, with its mythical connection to the Argonautic expedition, and the finish in magical Nafplio, every moment of the route promises unique thrills.
