The Posidonia Tour is an international cycling race that combines athletic challenge, natural beauty, and social contribution. This year, the race returns with two different routes, ideal for every level of cyclist.
Race Routes:
80 km: Perfect for those seeking a dynamic but more accessible challenge. A route that combines intensity and enjoyment of mountain biking.
152 km: A true test of endurance and strength. This route includes over 3,200 meters of elevation gain, showcasing the demanding nature of the race.
Start and Finish Points:
The race will start from Vitina, one of the most beautiful mountain destinations in the Peloponnese, surrounded by breathtaking nature. The finish line will be at Limovissi, the historic village of Theodoros Kolokotronis, offering participants a unique opportunity to combine their athletic experience with the history and culture of Greece.
Charitable Purpose:
All proceeds from the event will be donated to support the Association of Friends of Children with Cancer "ELPIDA", strengthening the valuable work they do for children and their families.
Dynamic Partnership with Posidonia 2026:
From 2026 onwards, the race will officially be part of the Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition as the official cycling race of Posidonia. With this collaboration, IG Cycling Touring Races strengthens its position on the international stage, connecting Greek shipping and sports. The Posidonia Tour 2026 will offer a unique opportunity for the maritime community to participate in an international charity race and enhance the bond between shipping and sports.
