The settlement is built on the East coast of the Laconian bay and is not a touristy destination yet, but there are accommodation options.
If you stay in Archangelos, you can go to the nearby beaches Pylas, Pounta, Saint George and Marathia. Only a few kilometres away, you’ll find exotic Elafonisos. The journey is mesmerising, offering a great view of the indented coasts with the emerald waters.
