It is a small shelter surrounded by beautiful scenery, without tourist traffic. Magouliana is built amphitheatrically on slope, at an altitude of 1350 m, and it is around 10 km away from Vytina.

It is a small shelter surrounded by beautiful scenery, without tourist traffic. Magouliana is built amphitheatrically on slope, at an altitude of 1350 m, and it is around 10 km away fromVytina.

The important attractions of the small village are its religious monuments: The Church of Ioannis Prodromos (18thcentury) at the square, of basilica style. Saint Demetrios, which burned down and was rebuilt in 1835, until it was declared a landmark in 1989. And the Dormition of the Mother of God near the village’s entrance, built in 1840, with a remarkable iconostasis.

Above Magouliana lies Argyrokastro, which was built during the Frankish rule. At a short distance lie the sanatorium of Mana,  and the department of Sphyrida, with the small church of the Dormition of the Mother of God.
