The important attractions of the small village are its religious monuments: The Church of Ioannis Prodromos (18thcentury) at the square, of basilica style. Saint Demetrios, which burned down and was rebuilt in 1835, until it was declared a landmark in 1989. And the Dormition of the Mother of God near the village’s entrance, built in 1840, with a remarkable iconostasis.
Above Magouliana lies Argyrokastro, which was built during the Frankish rule. At a short distance lie the sanatorium of Mana, and thedepartment of Sphyrida, with the small church of the Dormition of the Mother of God.
